Automation Engineer

Function As Automation Engineer you form the bridge between production, technology and IT. You actively work on improving, automating and future-proofing production processes. Your responsibilities: Design and implement automation solutions for production processes (with a focus on Siemens software). Analyze existing installations and processes and suggest and realize improvements. Maintain and optimize PLC programs. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless integration of automation solutions into the production process. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of implemented automation solutions. Identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed. Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including production staff, IT personnel and management. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in automation technology and apply this knowledge to continuously improve processes. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
