Automation Technician in Operations and Maintenance (a) 80-100%

The Model Group develops, produces, and supplies innovative and high-quality display and packaging solutions made from solid and corrugated cardboard. The paper for this is produced in its own paper mills from recycled paper fibers – thus ensuring a sustainable paper cycle. The Model Group employs around 4,400 people at 15 European locations. The company headquarters are located in Weinfelden.

These are your tasks

• With your expertise, you ensure that our production and infrastructure run reliably – from planned maintenance to repairs
• You are on hand for disruptions: you analyze, find the cause, and independently fix faults in electrical systems, machines, and controls
• You contribute your own ideas and continuously optimize our control, regulation, and drive technology
• You actively participate in projects, conversions, new installations, and the commissioning of new machines and systems
• Our building services are also in your hands – you ensure smooth operation

This is what distinguishes you

• Ideally, initial professional experience in machine and operations maintenance, NIV 13 authorization is an advantage
• Education and/or further training as an Automation Technician EFZ, Electrician, Electronics Technician, or comparable professions
• Enjoyment of drive and process technology as well as programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and measurement and control technology (MSR); experience with Siemens TIA is a plus, but not a must
• Independent, solution-oriented way of working and enjoyment of teamwork
• Willingness to be on call (approx. 7 to 9 weeks per year), maximum travel time 30 min
