Job Title AV Design Engineer / Audio-Visual Design Engineer Job Summary The AV Design Engineer is responsible for designing, engineering, and documenting audio-visual solutions for corporate, commercial, and institutional projects. This role involves translating client requirements into detailed AV system designs, drawings, and technical documentation while ensuring compliance with industry standards and project budgets. Key Responsibilities Design complete AV systems including audio, video, control, and communication infrastructure; Develop detailed design documents, including floor plans, elevations, and cross-sections; Create technical specifications for all AV equipment and components; Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective integration of AV solutions into overall project designs; Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for AV system design and installation. Requirements Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., architecture, engineering, or computer science); 3+ years of experience in AV design engineering; Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and other relevant design tools; Strong understanding of audio-visual technology and industry standards (e.g., HDMI, USB, IP); Excellent communication and project management skills.
