AUTO ELECTRICIAN - PLANT & TRUCKS

We are seeking a Qualified or Semi-Skilled Auto Electrician with experience working on heavy equipment, plant machinery, and trucks. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining complex auto electrical systems in a variety of industrial and commercial vehicles. Key Responsibilities: Diagnose and repair electrical faults on heavy-duty equipment, trucks, and plant machinery. Install, maintain, and troubleshoot wiring, lighting, ignition, and control systems. Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating electrical components, and inspecting electrical systems for damage or wear. Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems using specialized tools and equipment. Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to ensure efficient and effective maintenance and repair of equipment. Develop and implement procedures for maintaining and repairing electrical systems. Provide technical guidance and support to other maintenance personnel. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including repairs, maintenance, and testing. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Key Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required. 3-5 years of experience in auto electrical systems maintenance and repair. Strong understanding of electrical systems and principles. Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces. Ability to lift and move heavy equipment. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Certifications or licenses in auto electrical systems maintenance and repair. Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
