We are looking for a driver. The driver position is fundamental for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods, supporting operational continuity and customer satisfaction. The role requires respecting delivery times and current regulations, contributing to optimizing logistics processes.

Main responsibilities

1. Perform the transportation of goods and people following pre-established routes and respecting delivery times.
2. Maintain the vehicle in optimal conditions, performing regular checks and reporting any maintenance needs.
3. Compile travel documentation and delivery reports, ensuring the accuracy of information.
4. Ensure compliance with road safety regulations and company procedures.
5. Collaborate with the logistics team to optimize routes and improve service efficiency.
6. Manage any unexpected events during transportation, promptly communicating with the supervisor.
7. Provide excellent customer service, representing the company in a professional manner.

Requirements

- Valid driving license, C and CQC.
- Proven experience as a professional driver.
- Knowledge of road safety regulations and ability to navigate with GPS.
- Experience in transporting goods and managing travel documentation.
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
- Preferable experience in the logistics or transportation sector.

Technical skills required

- Knowledge of road safety regulations.

The person in this role ensures compliance with road regulations and is responsible for ordinary vehicle maintenance, contributing to the good functioning of the company's logistics operations.

Daily Routine:

• Starts with a thorough vehicle inspection to verify its optimal conditions.
• Plans the route based on assigned destinations, collaborating with the logistics team to optimize delivery times.
• During the journey, addresses and resolves any traffic or deviation problems, always prioritizing safety.
• Participates in regular meetings with the team to discuss improvements and feedback, promoting a collaborative work environment.
