Job description
The Role Provide targeted support to children and young people with Autism (ASC) and associated learning and communication needs Support students aged 4–19 years old , primarily on a 1:1 or small-group basis Assist with personal care , including toileting and feeding where required Comfortable with moving and handling , including the use of hoists Help manage challenging behaviours using positive and proactive de-escalation strategies Follow individualised education and behaviour plans to support students' learning and development Provide emotional support and build positive relationships with students and their families Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to develop and implement individualised education and behaviour plans Participate in regular meetings with teachers and other professionals to discuss student progress and develop strategies for supporting students' learning and development
