We are looking for you as an apprentice for the profession of Anesthetic Technical Assistant. The training qualifies you in the field of anesthesia for various tasks in a future-oriented area of healthcare. The job includes planning, preparation, and assistance for diagnostic and therapeutic interventions as well as patient care before, during, and after anesthesia. Close cooperation in a multiprofessional team is essential. The practical training lasts three years and takes place entirely in our hospital. You will experience the main focus of your training with our practice instructors in the central operating room. Additionally, you will learn about other departments: our central emergency department, pain clinic, endoscopy, and nursing station. So, you will get to know the complex care processes in a hospital from different perspectives.
The theoretical training takes place in cooperation with the School for Anesthesia- and Operating Room Technical Assistance at the Education Center of the Cities Region Aachen in Würselen.
Job Description
You have a middle school diploma or completed vocational training. Communication skills and ability to interact with patients and colleagues. You are responsible and meticulous in achieving your goals. You work well in an interdisciplinary team. You have interest in medicine and medical technology.QualificationsYou actively participate in the training offers. You attend classes at the ATA school and take part in practical training. You gradually assume responsibility for anesthesia under the guidance of our practice instructors, working in a multiprofessional team in our operating room and functional areas of our hospital. You learn to accompany and monitor patients before, during, and after surgery independently.A hospital visit in anesthesia before training begins is recommended
