Position: HR Truck Driver

Location: Parap, NT 0820

Employment Type: Full-time

Salary: $80,000 per annum

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate HR trucks to transport goods locally and regionally in compliance with NT road laws and company policies.
• Load and unload freight, ensuring cargo is secured safely and delivered on time.
• Conduct pre-start checks, routine inspections, and report maintenance issues promptly.
• Follow fatigue management and workplace health and safety requirements.
• Maintain accurate logbooks, delivery records, and paperwork.
• Communicate with dispatch, warehouse staff, and customers to coordinate deliveries.

Requirements:

• Valid HR Truck Licence issued
• Valid White Card
• Clean driving record and strong safety awareness.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks when required.
• Good communication skills and reliability in meeting deadlines.

• Ability to work independently and make on-the-spot decisions
• Proficiency with electronic logging devices and basic mobile apps for dispatch

Preferred Experience:

• Minimum 1–2 years driving heavy vehicles (HR or higher class).
• Experience in freight handling and load restraint.
• Familiarity with local NT roads and regional delivery conditions.
