Training to become a Surveying Technician (m/f/d)

The City Administration of Nuremberg is a modern service provider for more than half a million citizens. With around 12,500 employees and several hundred young professionals, we are one of the largest employers in the region. We offer diverse training and study opportunities with long-term perspectives. The training lasts 3 years. The practical training takes place at the Office for Geoinformation and Land Ordinance, while the theoretical part of the training is mediated by our experienced instructors. As a surveying technician, you will be responsible for conducting surveys, creating maps, and processing geospatial data. You will also learn about the principles of surveying, including triangulation, leveling, and photogrammetry. In addition to your technical skills, you will develop important soft skills such as teamwork, communication, and problem-solving. After completing the training, you will have a recognized vocational qualification and be able to work independently in a team.
