About Your Future Profession
The Technicians for Food Technology are true magicians! They conjure up the most diverse food products – and that's using machines and technical equipment. They know the processes & procedures like no one else – from the intake of raw materials to the storage of the finished product.
- You'll learn how to create delicious plant-based spreads
- You'll assemble, operate, and monitor production facilities – from weighing in ingredients to packaging
- You'll follow recipes with precision and ensure consistent quality
- You'll keep safety and cleanliness in mind
The training lasts 3 years. The theoretical part takes place at the Berufsschule Wittenberg/Mittelfeld, while the practical part is at our plant in Pratau.
What does it take to be successful in the training?
- A successful high school or equivalent diploma
- Interest in natural sciences, particularly chemistry and physics
- Technical understanding and enjoyment of working with machines
- Carefulness, teamwork, and a healthy dose of curiosity
- Flexibility for shift work and occasional weekend duties
