Training as a Saleswoman for Digitalization Management

Safe. It may be over 100 years since Heinrich Martens registered himself in the commercial register of the city of Lübeck, but essential things have not changed since then. Even if the small insurance agency has grown into an enterprise with over 900 employees over the course of more than 125 years, our principles remain unchanged: We are and will remain a family-owned business with Hanseatic values.

In the MARTENS & PRAHL Group, there are currently over 90 middle-sized insurance brokers working as freelance entrepreneurs. The holding company stands by your side, providing services of all kinds - from training to IT to marketing measures.

As an apprentice, you will learn all the commercial and business processes, so that you can understand the connections between different departments. Your focus will be on our project and IT department. You will learn to coordinate IT projects and discuss them with partners, but also gain insight into the background. Together with trained professionals, you will take up digitalization projects at our partner companies, document them, and support the departments in implementing the final solution. Different IT tools play an important role here.

• Creating and implementing application solutions
• Training and supporting end-users in the IT area

Qualification

• Middle school diploma, college entrance qualification or Abitur - maybe you've even started a study and decided to make a practical apprenticeship instead?
• You are communicative and empathetic and like to approach people
• You have team spirit and organizational talent and show willingness to take on responsibilities
• You're interested in office work and economic relationships.
• You enjoy working with PCs or tablets and can handle them well.
