As a TOP employer in the region, we are looking for motivated and dedicated apprentices for an apprenticeship as an Industrial Mechanic (m/f/d) starting in 2027.
Tasks
Your apprenticeship as an Industrial Mechanic lasts 3.5 years. During this time, you will learn everything you need for your future role in maintenance at Corning and at vocational school.
This is what you will learn in the Industrial Mechanic apprenticeship:
- Manual and machining of materials
- Thermal material processing (soldering, welding)
- Assembly, expansion, and testing of pneumatic and electropneumatic components of control technology
- Assembly and disassembly of components, assemblies, and systems, as well as maintenance of operating resources
- Independent planning and organization of work
- Quality assurance and occupational safety
Profile
- The daily work in a technical environment with production facilities is exactly right for you
- You have at least a secondary school diploma (Realschulabschluss)
- Your strengths include teamwork, diligence, reliability, flexibility, responsibility, and quality awareness
- You also have technical interest and understanding
- After completing your apprenticeship, you are willing to work in shifts
