In the 2-year apprenticeship as a salesperson or the 3-year apprenticeship as a retail clerk, you will learn how retail processes work: from ordering goods, through receiving, presentation, and storage of goods, to sales and sales-promoting measures. These tasks, among others, await you:

• Acceptance of goods deliveries
• Stocking shelves and product presentation
• Freshness control in the fruit and vegetable section
• Ensuring the availability of our baked goods
• Operating the cash register and reconciling the till
• Ensuring order and cleanliness in the store

Depending on the collective bargaining agreement area, you will work between 37 and 39 hours per week, including vocational school time. Vocational school will be near your place of residence.

• A school leaving certificate (qualifying secondary school certificate or intermediate school certificate)

• An above-tariff salary:
  -1st year of apprenticeship €1,250.00 gross
  -2nd year of apprenticeship €1,350.00 gross
