Tasks
- You will inform and advise customers about the usage possibilities of information and telecommunications technology devices and systems, and you will install and configure devices and systems at our customers' sites.
- The installation of the power supply and the testing of electrical safety measures also belong to your area of responsibility. Your knowledge is in demand in many areas. When detecting errors, you will use so-called expert and diagnostic systems to see the origin of the problem and then fix the error.
- The training lasts three years and takes place in a dual system, i.e., at the training company and at the vocational school.
- The final examination will be taken before the Chamber of Industry and Commerce.
Qualifications
- You should be enthusiastic about IT topics and modern technology and have a Realschulabschluss (intermediate school certificate) or a Fachoberschule (technical college) degree.
- Helpful strengths: Manual dexterity, interest in electronics, and interest in the subjects of Math, Technology, and Physics.
