Apprenticeship Automotive Mechatronics Technician 2027 (m/f/d) for the Kia Brand

We are a car dealership with six locations around Munich and more than 400 employees, successfully operating the BMW, MINI, and Kia brands. It feels like we've been around forever (since 1963). But that doesn't stop us from thinking ahead: modern buildings, always the latest technology. And of course, fantastic vehicles from three popular car brands. Many colleagues have been with us for a long time, which naturally makes us very happy. To ensure this continues, there are many extras. We want everyone to feel comfortable with us.

Can't get enough of cars and technology? And have you always wanted to take a Kia apart? That sounds like a match.

During your 3½-year apprenticeship, our team will introduce you to the world of a Kia workshop. You will shadow an experienced automotive mechatronics technician for three months at a time. At the beginning, you will mainly observe, and quite quickly you'll get to try things yourself. You will also take photos for documentation or assist with oil changes. If a door needs to be removed, we all pitch in together as a team. From apprentice to master technician – we help each other. Your tasks will grow over time. But don't worry: someone will always check over your work.

By the way: Before you sign, you can spend a few days with us to get a feel for things (and bombard the other apprentices with questions). This way, we can find out if we are a good fit.

If you have questions, there is always someone there to support you. Colleagues as well as trainers. Do you feel comfortable? Is the collaboration with your male or female automotive mechatronics technician working well? We care about you. And of course, we will help you if you get stuck anywhere.

Oh yes, once a month you'll go to vocational school for a week.

• Automotive technology and you – they just belong together.
• Do you have a good (or very good) qualified secondary school leaving certificate or Mittlere Reife? Or even the Abitur? Great.
• We would be pleased if you have already gained some insight into workshop life through an internship. (But it's not a must)
• Working with your hands is your thing? Even when it's detailed work? Perfect.
• Do you have a driver's license or do you want to get one? (Class B). Very good. With us, you'll occasionally drive nice cars around the yard…
• Are your language skills in German at Level C1? Excellent, you'll need that for your apprenticeship.

• A comprehensive apprenticeship in a renowned Kia specialist workshop.
• During your apprenticeship, you will receive a monthly salary of 1156 Euros in the first year of training, 1185 Euros in the second, 1244 Euros in the third, and 1310 Euros in the fourth.
• Contributions to company pension schemes.
• 30 days of vacation, vacation pay, and an annual bonus.

• Subsidy for workshop attire.
• If everything works out between us, we definitely won't let you go after you've passed your final exam. We are interested in a long-term collaboration with you – the future is what you make of it!
