Tasks

• Development of modern, high-performance, and scalable backend services with Python and FastAPI.
• Modeling and management of PostgreSQL databases as well as work with SQLAlchemy Async and Alembic migrations.
• Creation, optimization, and documentation of APIs for web, mobile, and integration applications.
• Development and maintenance of background processes and asynchronous workflows with Celery.
• Integration of external services, interfaces, and platforms into an existing backend architecture.
• Use of Pydantic for data validation, serialization, and clear structuring of API data.
• Collaboration on reusable backend components in a modular, containerized service landscape.
• Quality assurance through tests, code reviews, linting, and practical technical documentation

Qualification

• First-hand experience in software development, e.g., through personal projects, school, internships, or online courses.
• Fundamental knowledge of Python or another programming language.
• Interest in backend development, APIs, databases, and modern software architectures.
• Logical-analytical thinking and the ability to independently learn new topics.
• Eigeninitiative, reliability, and a structured work style.
• Pleasure in understanding technical problems and developing your own solution approaches.
• Learner's willingness, teamwork, and open communication.
• First contact with Git, databases, or web technologies is an advantage.
