Trainer for Train Staff and TF (m/w/d)

As part of the training team, you prepare our train staff and locomotive drivers for practical use on the job site and convey your knowledge to future colleagues. Through your training, you directly contribute to safety, efficiency, and service quality in rail operations. Our training sessions take place in Berlin, Hamburg, Cologne, Frankfurt, and Stuttgart.

About the Role

• Organize and lead our on-site trainings for train assistants, train drivers, and locomotive drivers
• Develop and update training materials with a focus on digital learning formats
• Conduct independent briefings and retraining sessions in accordance with current guidelines
• Prioritize and conduct theoretical and practical lesson units
• Create and analyze learner control checks to ensure the quality of training
• Documented and reflected on lesson results for continuous improvement
• Work closely with other trainers to develop standards and content

About You

• Completed vocational training in the rail industry with at least 3 years of professional experience in the railway sector
• Valid driving permit for trains since at least 2 years
• Experience as a trainer, instructor or examiner for train staff
• High travel readiness and flexibility for nationwide deployments with overnight stays
• Safe handling of MS Office and interest in digital learning formats
• Very good German language skills (at least C1)
• Teamwork, social competence, and excellent communication skills
