We shape biographies. We, the IHK-Bildungszentrum Dresden gGmbH, have been one of the largest education service providers in the Dresden region for over 30 years for non-vocational training and professional further education. Every year, we train around 700 apprentices for over 250 companies in classical metalworking and electrical occupations.

To strengthen our training team, we are looking for a dedicated trainer (m/w/d) Metalltechnik at the earliest possible date

Aufgaben

• You lead a hands-on training in the area of manual and machine-based metalworking.
• You convey practical, job-related knowledge and skills to apprentices.
• You organize and plan self-directed lesson plans with the provision of training materials and equipment.
• You take control, evaluation, assessment, and documentation of work results and performances.
• You contribute to the creation of flowcharts and workflow plans in your responsible training area.
• You maintain relationships with our cooperation partners and apprenticeship companies.

Qualifikation

• You seek a meaningful and sustainable task.
• You identify with our human-centered values and corporate culture.
• You have completed vocational training or gained experience in a classical metalworking profession, ideally as a toolmaker (m/w/d) or industrial mechanic (m/w/d).
• You have comprehensive knowledge and skills, as well as proven practical experience in handling conventional drilling and milling machines.
• You possess a successfully completed trainer qualification or the willingness to acquire this qualification.
• You enjoy supporting apprentices or professionals in their competence development, treat them with respect, and show empathy and understanding.
• You have knowledge and experiences working with common Microsoft Office programs. You are familiar with digital work tools and media.
• Your personality is characterized by confident demeanor, self-directed and independent work style, as well as excellent communication and teamwork skills.
