The Bildungswerk BAU Hessen-Thüringen e.V. is a training service provider for the construction industry with high competencies in the areas of construction technology, construction machinery technology, pipeline and plant construction, metal and plastic joining, construction management, occupational safety, and environmental technology. To strengthen our team at the EBL Frankfurt training center, we are seeking an Instructor (m/f/d) in the field of Civil Engineering with a specialization in Pipeline Construction, for the earliest possible start date and in full-time employment.
Responsibilities
- Planning, preparation, and execution of practical and theoretical training in recognized civil engineering professions in accordance with training regulations and further training rules
- Imparting technical knowledge and skills in workshops and classrooms, guiding participants on professional and safe working practices (instructions/occupational safety)
- Creation of performance records and targeted exam preparation
- Creation, maintenance, and further development of teaching and exercise materials
- Mentoring, motivating, and individually supporting participants, collaborating with training companies, vocational schools, and chambers
Profile
- Degree as a "Certified Foreman in Civil Engineering" (w/m/d) or "Master Craftsman in Pipeline Construction" (w/m/d) with practical experience
- Experience in the GW 15, GW 330 areas
- Vocational and work-pedagogical suitability (AEVO) – mandatory requirement
- Pedagogical skills, enjoyment of training activities, and a confident, appreciative demeanor
- Structured and independent way of working, team spirit, as well as communication and assertiveness skills
- Proficient in PC and Office applications, openness to digital teaching/learning media
- Desirable: additional specialized knowledge (e.g., surveying, sewer/road construction technology)
