The Role – Your Passion

Your Tasks as Location Manager at roadsurfer

• Location Development: Together with the central departments and your team, you will independently develop our location and ensure the smooth running of day-to-day business.

• Process Optimization: You will support the implementation and adaptation of existing standards and actively contribute your own ideas for improvement, e.g., in the coordination of vehicle handovers and returns.

• International Cooperation: You will be in regular contact with roadsurfer teams in other countries and contribute to the continuous improvement of our processes.

• Team Leadership: As a team leader, you will foster your team through structured onboarding, targeted task planning, and regular feedback. Together, you will ensure a high quality of our services.

• Independent Recruiting: You will be responsible for building your team and finding the right talents who share your enthusiasm for roadsurfer.

• Fleet Management: You will keep an overview of our vehicle fleet at the location, ensure its perfect condition, and coordinate closely with local service partners.

• Customer Service: As an expert for our products – myroadsurfer, abo, spots, and rent – you will provide advice to customers and send them off on Europe's roads as happy roadsurfers.

What You Need to Surf on the Same Wave as Us

• Successfully completed vocational training or a degree in a relevant field, or a comparable qualification

• At least 2-3 years of professional experience, ideally in car rental, tourism, or related fields; we also welcome career changers.

• Initial experience in team leadership is an advantage – what is most important to us is empathy and a supportive leadership style.

• A strong service and customer orientation, as well as a passion for open and friendly communication

• Hands-on mentality and a desire for a varied role in which you also act pragmatically and solution-oriented

• Very good German and English language skills

• Driver's license class B

Your Salary

We ❤️ Transparency. The salary band for this position ranges from 37,000 EUR to 45,000 EUR gross annually. We are currently introducing salary bands in our job descriptions to ensure that all employees are treated fairly. Once we get to know each other better in the application process and can assess your skills and experience more precisely, we will find out together which level within the salary band best suits you. Your salary will be reviewed at least once a year in an annual feedback discussion.
