Auditor

Full Time 65000.00 - 100000.00

Job description

About our Client:
Our client is a well-established audit firm in Wellington with a strong reputation and a growing market share. Over the past five years, the team has more than doubled in size, and they continue to secure new work across a variety of sectors.

With a strong pipeline ahead, they are passively exploring the market for someone who values quality work and a balanced lifestyle. Their client base is evenly split across not-for-profits, for-profits, and government entities, creating both diversity and long-term stability.

About the Role:
This opportunity has come about purely due to growth. With a few larger new clients recently won and a steady stream of referrals, they are looking to bring in someone who can hit the ground running and grow with the firm. You’ll work across a broad mix of sectors and gain hands-on experience across all phases of the audit process.
  • Leading or supporting audits from planning through to completion
  • Preparing and reviewing audit files using Caseware
  • Managing client relationships in both the FP and NFP space
  • Supporting junior team members and contributing to the culture of continuous learning
About You:
  • 1+ year of external audit experience in a New Zealand CA environment
  • CA qualification or working towards it
  • An interest in a broad mix of audit work—NFP, FP, and government
  • A team-first mindset and solid communication skills
What’s in it for you:
  • A role that has come from genuine growth—not backfilling turnover
  • One of the best work-life balance offerings in the Wellington audit market
  • A friendly, stable team with strong Partner involvement
  • Exposure to a wide range of sectors and client sizes
  • Ongoing support for your CA or professional development

Why work with Tyler Wren?
  • 15+ years of experience in the Professional Services sector
  • Job opportunities across New Zealand and Australia, with local recruiters in each location
  • Many placements are not available through adverts
  • Support at every stage, from career guidance to job search management including personalised interview prep to help you succeed
