Job description

The Inventory Auditor works to minimize many forms of risks to the company's financial standing. This position will be responsible for identifying current risks, whether or not they can be prevented and how to reduce the chances of them occurring. This position also entails performing various assessments, including complete physical inventories and regulatory compliance assessments, as required by regulatory compliance.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Reviews financial data and information relating to business operations.
  • Identifies potential risks and recommends how to address detected issues.
  • Identifies and analyzes areas of potential risk to the organizations' assets, revenue-generating capacity, or success.
  • Develops reports and presentations that summarize findings, explain risk positions, or recommend changes.
  • Conducts statistical and in-person analyses to identify and categorize risk and potential risk.
  • Assists in developing and implementing risk reduction strategies.
  • Presents risk analyses to consumers, decision-makers, or managers, formulating recommendations for action.
  • Prepares reports for senior management.
  • Keeps abreast of the latest company and industry developments to periodically update risk reports.
  • Prepares the company's risk policies and procedures and security/operational codes.
  • Plans and contributes to the development of risk management systems.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in Auditing, Inventory Management.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Administration, Accounting, Auditing, or a related field is required.
  • Must reside in the Monterrey, Nuevo León area.
  • Availability to travel, high frequency of travel to different locations in the states of Nuevo León, Tamaulipas, Coahuila, Durango, and CDMX.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to perform inventories and maintain controls and financial information.
  • Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills; attention to detail and accuracy; and organizational and time management skills.
