Audit Senior

A well established Auditing Firm is looking for an Audit Senior. Requirements: Completed BCompt or BCom Financial Accounting with audit specialisation Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting (PGDA) advantageous Responsibilities: Ensure the audit team complies with firm policies, audit methodology, auditing standards, and applicable laws and regulations. Identify, address, and assist in mitigating client, engagement, and audit risks. Assist with audit planning, including client risk assessment, pre-audit meetings, and coordination of audit teams. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded. Provide guidance and support to junior staff members, promoting professional development and growth. Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory changes, applying this knowledge to improve audit processes and outcomes. Contribute to the development of firm policies, procedures, and standards, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
