Job description
We have an amazing opportunity for an Audit Senior to join a well-established accounting and audit firm in Cape Town (Northern Suburbs), assisting with audit and independent review engagements and supporting the directors with the management of the relevant client portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage and assist on audit and independent review engagements from planning through to completion
· Review and supervise work performed by trainees
· Train and develop trainees within the team
· Assist the directors with the day-to-day management of clients and engagements
· Assist with the overall planning and completion of engagements
We require a candidate with:
- Completed SAICA articles (SAIPA articles will not meet the requirement for this role)
- At least an undergraduate degree
- Good CaseWare Working Papers experience
- Advantageous: prior experience supervising or reviewing trainee work
