Audiology Technician - Clinical

Job Title: Audiology Technician Location: Cape Town, Western Cape Single shift, 08:00 - 17:00 daily. Weekend work may apply. Role Summary: The Audiology Technician will be responsible for assisting audiologists and other healthcare professionals in the diagnosis and treatment of hearing and balance disorders. Key responsibilities will include: • Conducting audiological tests, including pure tone audiometry, impedance audiometry, and otoacoustic emissions • Assisting audiologists with patient assessments and treatment plans • Maintaining accurate and detailed records of patient test results and treatment plans • Participating in quality control and quality assurance activities • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care • Maintaining a clean and organized work environment • Participating in continuing education and professional development activities • Performing other duties as required.
