Associate Vice President Senior Lead Software Engineer

Position Summary: As an Associate Vice President Senior Lead Software Engineer, you will be at the forefront of designing, developing, and implementing critical software solutions. You will lead a team of talented engineers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and resilient software. Key Responsibilities: Leadership and Team Management: * Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, providing guidance, technical expertise, and performance feedback. * Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment, encouraging knowledge sharing and continuous improvement. * Manage and prioritize tasks, ensuring alignment with project goals and deadlines. Technical Design and Development: * Design and develop robust, scalable, and high-performance software solutions. * Write clean, well-documented, and testable code. * Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. * Collaborate with other teams (e.g., product, QA, and infrastructure) to deliver end-to-end solutions. Project Management and Delivery: * Plan and execute software development projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery. * Manage project risks, dependencies, and resources effectively. * Communicate project status, issues, and risks to stakeholders proactively. Technology and Innovation: * Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends. * Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to improve software development processes. * Contribute to the continuous improvement of the software development lifecycle. Qualifications: * Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. * 10+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on backend systems. * 5+ years of experience in leading and mentoring software engineering teams. * Strong proficiency in Java or other object-oriented programming languages. * Experience with designing and developing RESTful APIs. * Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL). * Experience with Agile development methodologies. * Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, global environment. * Experience in the financial industry is a plus.
