You will be based in Melbourne as part of our national Tax team which also includes lawyers in our Sydney Tax practice. Working principally in income tax, you will work closely with our Partners and other tax professionals to deliver high-quality advice to clients. Your role will involve: • Providing tax advice to clients across a range of industries; • Assisting with the preparation of tax returns and other tax-related documents; • Conducting research and analysis on complex tax issues; • Collaborating with other lawyers and professionals to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients; • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and colleagues. In addition, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and develop your skills in areas such as: • Tax disputes and litigation; • Tax planning and structuring; • International taxation; • Superannuation and employee benefits. To be considered for this role, you will need to have: • A Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or equivalent qualification; • Admission as a lawyer in Australia or the ability to obtain admission within 6 months; • At least 2 years of experience working in tax law, preferably with a top-tier firm; • Strong research and analytical skills; • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
