Job Description We are seeking an Associate to join the Real Assets and Private Investment Operations team within Investment Operations. Reporting to the Manager, Private and Alternative Asset Operations, this role plays a key leadership function on the team. The Associate is responsible for ensuring the accurate and efficient execution of investment transactions, supervising and mentoring junior colleagues, and driving continuous improvement in processes and controls. Team Summary The Real Assets and Private Investment Operations team within Investment Operations is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of private equity, real estate, infrastructure, and alternative investments. This includes tasks such as: • Processing investment transactions, including deal closings, capital calls, and distributions. • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of investment holdings and transactions. • Providing exceptional client service to investors and other stakeholders. • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless integration of operations across the organization. Key Responsibilities • Ensure the accurate and efficient execution of investment transactions, including deal closings, capital calls, and distributions. • Supervise and mentor junior colleagues to drive continuous improvement in processes and controls. • Drive continuous improvement in processes and controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, portfolio companies, and other teams within the organization. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., finance, accounting, business administration). • 2-3 years of experience in private equity, real estate, infrastructure, or alternative investments. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and ability to work accurately under tight deadlines. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. • Strong understanding of financial markets and instruments (e.g., stocks, bonds, derivatives). • Familiarity with accounting principles and regulatory requirements (e.g., GAAP, IFRS). • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly.
