Caxton Associates’ primary business is to manage client and proprietary capital through multiple global hedge fund disciplines, including discretionary macro, systematic macro, emerging markets macro, systematic trading, equity long-short, and event-driven strategies. Assets are managed via a broad mandate to trade in a variety of global markets and instruments, such as fixed income securities, currencies, commodities, equities, and derivatives. The firm’s investment approach is based on a combination of fundamental analysis, quantitative models, and market insights.
