Associate (PE, Buy & Build) (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

As an Associate, you will work directly at the interface of strategy and implementation, supporting the integration of new acquisitions and the further development of existing investments. In close collaboration with the founders (ex-BCG) and the portfolio managing directors, you will get involved where things are truly making a difference for us.

• PMI & Value Creation: You will be involved in exciting Post-Merger Integration topics - from co-designing and implementing the 100-Day Plan to developing automation processes that make our portfolio companies more efficient and scalable.
• Operational Excellence: You will support the conception and implementation of initiatives for efficiency improvement, process optimization, and business model scaling across the entire portfolio.
• Performance & Governance: You will help build and operate control mechanisms for transparent performance measurement and provide data-based foundations for strategic decisions.
• Operations Support: You will actively support portfolio companies in optimizing group-wide key processes, systems, and structures to realize synergies and best practices.
• Growth & Analysis: You will support the analysis of growth levers and the preparation of decision bases at the group and investment level.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of relevant professional experience in Corporate Development, PE, Consulting (MBB) or Big Four, or a comparable fast-paced role.
• Solid understanding of business models, operational processes, and corporate strategy - ideally with experience in the context of growth or SME companies.
• Strong hands-on mentality with a focus on implementation, results orientation, and high personal responsibility.
• Strong analytical skills and confident handling of Excel/data, as well as ideally experience with automation and digitalization topics.
• Excellent communication skills in German (fluent) and English, Swiss German is an advantage.
• Desire to quickly take on responsibility in a dynamic environment and openness to change in the SME context.
