Associate - International Trade Law

We are seeking an experienced Mid-Level Associate to join our International Trade Law practice in Brussels. The successful candidate will join an highly specialized and growing team that advises high-profile private clients and government entities on a wide range of international trade matters, including trade remedies, export controls and international sanctions, customs, public international law, trade policy and trade regulatory matters (e.g., CBAM, EUDR). Key Responsibilities: Represent clients before the European Commission, the European Court of Justice, the World Trade Organization, and other international organizations. Provide strategic advice on international trade law and policy, including trade agreements, tariffs, and non-tariff barriers. Conduct legal research and analysis on international trade law and policy issues. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative solutions to complex international trade law and policy challenges. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Law or related field. Minimum 3 years of experience in international trade law or a related field. Strong understanding of international trade law and policy, including trade agreements, tariffs, and non-tariff barriers. Excellent analytical, research, and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Word and Excel. Knowledge of EU trade law and policy, including the EU's trade agreements and trade policies.
