Associate, Group Investments

ESR is seeking a driven and analytical Associate with minimum 4 years of investment experience to join the Group Investment Team. The candidate will independently evaluate real estate investment opportunities, conduct in-depth financial modelling, and prepare high-quality investment papers as well as ad-hoc analysis to support strategic decision making by ESR senior management. The candidate will also work with key stakeholders across the broader business, including the Group Strategy & Investment Team, Asset Management Team, and other departments. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the real estate investment landscape, with experience in deal sourcing, financial analysis, and portfolio management. The candidate will be expected to work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality results. The role will require strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The candidate will be expected to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. The role will also require the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as real estate, finance, or business, and a minimum of 4 years of investment experience. The candidate will also have a strong understanding of financial markets and instruments, including real estate investment trusts (REITs), private equity, and hedge funds. The candidate will be expected to be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and have experience with financial modelling software such as Argus or Excel-based models.
