Associate General Manager

Job Summary: The Associate General Manager – Ferro Alloys will be responsible for end-to-end plant operations, with a strong focus on Submerged Arc Furnace (SAF) performance, production efficiency, cost optimization, and safety. This role requires strategic leadership to drive operational excellence, meet production targets, and ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities: 1. Plant Operations & Furnace Management Lead and oversee continuous operation of Submerged Arc Furnace (SAF) performance, production efficiency, cost optimization, and safety. This role requires strategic leadership to drive operational excellence, meet production targets, and ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards. 2. Production Planning & Control Develop and implement production plans, schedules, and control systems to ensure efficient and effective plant operations. 3. Quality & Regulatory Compliance Ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards, and implement corrective actions as needed. 4. Safety & Environmental Management Develop and implement safety and environmental management systems to ensure a safe and environmentally responsible work environment. 5. Team Management Lead and manage a team of operators, technicians, and engineers to achieve operational excellence. 6. Continuous Improvement Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement, and monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented changes. 7. Reporting & Analysis Provide regular reports and analysis to senior management on plant performance, production, and safety metrics. 8. Budgeting & Cost Control Develop and manage budgets and cost control systems to ensure efficient and effective plant operations. 9. Stakeholder Management Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and regulatory agencies. 10.
