Associate Founder / Entrepreneur in Residence (m/w/d)

OTARO is a rapidly growing D2C sports brand focusing on functional, thought-out bags for Ski, Tennis, and Padel.

We develop products that combine order, design, and performance, and sell them consistently digitally through our own online shop as well as marketplaces like Amazon, Decathlon, or Otto.

Working at OTARO means being near the entrepreneurial core: We are a team of currently around 10 employees, working remote-first, and making decisions quickly and pragmatically. In this role, you will work directly with the management team, have real influence on product, marketing, and strategy, and can take responsibility instead of just doing tasks.

Aufgaben

Your Mission: Building an Company Actively

As Associate Founder, you are not an assistant – you are an operational co-creator.

Product Innovation (Deep Research)

• You identify market opportunities, trends, and gaps (Ski, Tennis, Padel)

• You think in terms of problems & solutions

• You develop new product ideas from research to market readiness

Retention & CLV

• You understand: The first purchase is just the beginning

• You develop data-driven strategies to massively increase repeat purchases and customer lifetime value

• You build systems that turn customers into true fans

KI, Automatisierung & Geschwindigkeit

• You work with KI tools, automations (Make/Zapier), and modern software stacks

• You think processes anew and automate before others even start

• You build speed as a competitive advantage

Operative Exzellenz

• You work closely with the management team

• You solve complex, operational issues independently

You ensure that decisions do not remain pending but are implemented

Qualifikation
