Associate/ Financial Modeler – Renewable Energy Location: Johannesburg, South Africa A leading renewable energy consulting firm is seeking a skilled financial modeler to join its dynamic team. This role focuses on developing and optimizing financial models for renewable energy projects across Africa. Key Responsibilities: Financial Modeling: Build and maintain complex financial models to support project planning, investment decisions, and forecasting. Project Analysis: Analyze and evaluate projects to identify opportunities for improvement and optimize financial performance. Data Analysis: Analyze and interpret large datasets to identify trends and patterns. Stakeholder Management: Communicate complex financial information to stakeholders, including project developers, investors, and government agencies. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in financial modeling, project analysis, or a related field. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling software. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects. Certifications: CFA, CAIA, or CFP preferred.
