Associate, Finance, Payroll

Reporting to the Senior Associate Director, Payroll, you will be responsible for payroll across Canada and Cayman and backup responsibilities for EMEA and/or APAC payroll processing. This role will also have the opportunity to assist other teams within the Finance Department and Human Resources Departments at MUFG.

• Ensure full-cycle payroll processing for Canada on a semi-monthly basis following Government Legislation and Company Policy
• Ensure full-cycle payroll processing for Cayman on a monthly basis following Government Legislation and Company Policy
• Prepare and reconcile month end journal entries
• Complete Canadian Year-End processing - including T4s and T2200s
• Prepare and remit Payroll taxes and other relevant remittances
• Prepare and remit multiple Pension contributions
• Ensure that all government remittances and other payments are processed
• Provide outstanding customer service to all employees and partners
