Job description

To strengthen our team, we are looking for an Associate Engineer Quality Control (m/f/d) in Brandenburg an der Havel.

Responsibilities

  • Planning and further development of quality control systems
  • Execution and monitoring of incoming goods, final, and quality inspections (e.g., through EL, IV, and reliability tests)
  • Ensuring quality standards in cooperation with the departments
  • Analysis of quality deviations as well as initiation and follow-up of corrective actions
  • Review and optimization of manufacturing, testing, and quality documentation
  • Support in supplier evaluation and ensuring quality requirements in procurement and production
  • Participation in continuous process and product optimization (LEAN/Kaizen)

Qualifications

  • Completed technical or scientific degree with sound knowledge of the process flow of PV cells and the basic functionality of semiconductor elements
  • Experience in quality assurance for final inspection of products is advantageous
  • Experience in quality control, ideally in the solar or semiconductor sector, is desirable
  • Proficient in the common MS Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Independent, analytical, and solution-oriented thinking and working style
  • Hands-on mentality
  • Team player, pragmatic, solution-oriented
  • Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
