Associate Director - Transmission Lines

Due to significant project wins, we are looking for an Associate Director - Transmission Lines to join our high-performing team in Melbourne or Brisbane. About the Role As Associate Director, you will provide leadership, strategic direction and technical expertise in the delivery of transmission line projects, across a range of voltage levels. You will be responsible for leading and managing a team of engineers and technical specialists, ensuring the successful delivery of projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities: * Provide technical leadership and expertise in the planning, design, and construction of transmission line projects. * Lead and manage a team of engineers and technical specialists, providing guidance, mentoring, and performance management. * Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and industry partners. * Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. * Oversee the preparation of technical reports, specifications, and drawings. * Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and codes. * Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including preparing proposals and participating in client presentations. * Contribute to the overall growth and success of the Transmission Line team. * Provide support and technical advice to other projects within the broader Energy practice. About You * Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. * Extensive experience in the design and construction of transmission line projects. * Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team of engineers and technical specialists. * Strong technical expertise in transmission line design, including knowledge of relevant standards and codes. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. * Demonstrated ability to manage project budgets, schedules, and resources. * Experience in preparing technical reports, specifications, and drawings. * Experience in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. * Experience working with Australian electricity transmission networks is highly desirable.
