Company description The SAP team at KPMG in Poland focuses on strategic and operational consulting for IT functions, as well as SAP technology-based business transformation. Department consultants support Clients from the preparation of new IT system implementations, through solving problems related to the digital transformation of enterprises, to building IT development strategies. Job title Associate Director / SAP FI-CO Team Leader Job title description Consulting for Chief Financial Officers (CFOs), Chief Accountants, and finance teams regarding the transformation of the financial function using SAP solutions. Participation in pre-sales activities, bid preparation, work estimation, and client solution presentations. Leading strategic workshops and management meetings to define target financial processes, operating models, and transformation roadmaps. Collaboration with KPMG practice leaders in developing SAP Finance service offerings and Go-to-Market initiatives. Managing a team of SAP FI/CO consultants, including work planning, competence development, and technical support for team members. Developing the competencies of the SAP FI/CO team through mentoring, coaching, and building specializations in finance and controlling areas. Responsibility for the execution of the FI-CO stream in SAP S/4HANA implementation, migration, and roll-out projects. Acting as Project Manager for smaller development projects concerning only the FI-CO area. Conducting workshops with clients to analyze business processes and design solutions in line with SAP best practices. Designing and overseeing the configuration of SAP FI and CO areas, considering integration with MM, SD, PP, PS, and PM modules. Ensuring solution quality through project reviews, testing oversight, data migration support, and preparation for production launch. - Collaboration with the project manager, solution architects, and business representatives regarding planning, risk management, and project decision-making. Supporting clients during hypercare and process optimization after system go-live. Requirements Minimum 8 years of experience in SAP FI/CO projects, including experience as a Lead Consultant or Team Leader. Very good knowledge of financial processes, controlling, and integration with other SAP modules, confirmed by SAP certifications. Experience in SAP S/4HANA projects (implementations, conversions, or roll-outs), including knowledge of changes compared to SAP ECC. Experience working with the SAP Activate methodology. Practical knowledge of FI areas: GL, AP, AR, AA, BA, and CO: CCA, PCA, and Product Costing or Margin Analysis. Experience in designing financial models and harmonizing financial processes. Knowledge of financial data migration, integration testing, cutover, and production launch support. Ability to conduct business workshops and communicate effectively with finance department representatives and management. Experience in managing a project team, planning work, and mentoring consultants. Very good command of English to enable leading international projects. Nice to have: Experience in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud projects. Knowledge of SAP Central Finance, Group Reporting, Treasury, or FSCM. Experience in projects for organizations operating in a Shared Services or Global Business Services model.
