My client is a respected Wellington advisory firm, and are looking for an experienced professional to join their close-knit, high-performing team in a pivotal leadership role.

You’ll work closely with Partners to deliver quality advisory and compliance services to a loyal and complex client base. With a strong reputation for tailored solutions, hands-on Partners involvement, and genuine client care, this is a firm where your strategic input and leadership will be truly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of high-value clients, delivering both compliance and strategic advisory
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accountants at varying levels
• Review complex files and provide commercial, tailored insights
• Maintain and build long-term client relationships through trusted advisory
• Contribute to firm-wide strategy and internal improvement initiatives

What You’ll Bring:

• 7+ years’ BAS experience in a New Zealand public practice
• CA qualification with strong technical and commercial capabilities
• Experience in managing teams and client portfolios independently
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• A proactive, professional, and relationship-led approach
