Job description
As the Associate Director of Development-Canada, you will lead projects and provide leadership to a team of developers who are driving the creation of Scout’s Canadian-based renewable energy projects. With a focus on early- and mid-stage development phases, you will help guide the team’s identification of, development of strategy for, and delivery of the needed real estate, environmental, and permitting functions. You will be responsible for delivery of profitable projects that meet all project requirements and timelines. This role will require strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously. You will also be expected to provide guidance and mentorship to team members, as well as collaborate with other departments to ensure successful project delivery. Key responsibilities will include: • Leading and managing a team of developers to deliver projects on time and within budget • Developing and implementing project plans, timelines, and budgets • Identifying and mitigating project risks • Collaborating with other departments to ensure successful project delivery • Providing guidance and mentorship to team members • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices • Maintaining accurate and detailed records of project progress and performance metrics. In return, you will be offered a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $120,000 to $150,000 per year, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) plan with a company match.
