Associate Director, Area Catalyst Squads Lead

The Area Catalyst Squads Lead leads all Catalyst Squad activity within one area (Americas, EME or APAC) – and is personally active in the work. Approximately 30–50% of this role's capacity is spent directly in the field: running discovery and pre-sales on priority deals, co-selling with Microsoft, and acting as a senior SME on high-value customer engagements. The postholder leads a distributed, multi-discipline squad function spanning all five solution domains – directly managing Squad Service Managers to deliver exceptional customer experiences. This role requires strong collaboration and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively across multiple stakeholder groups. Key responsibilities include: • Developing and executing a comprehensive strategy for Catalyst Squads in the area, aligned with global goals and priorities. • Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams. • Providing coaching, guidance, and support to Squad Service Managers to ensure successful delivery of customer engagements. • Collaborating with other Area Catalyst Squads Leads to share best practices, identify opportunities for improvement, and drive consistency across the organization. • Identifying and prioritizing high-value customer opportunities, working closely with Microsoft to develop tailored solutions that meet their needs. • Developing and maintaining a deep understanding of Microsoft's products and services, as well as industry trends and market developments. • Providing thought leadership and expertise on Catalyst Squads strategy and operations to internal stakeholders.
