About the role
We are looking for an Associate to join our litigation team based in Christchurch. You will gain exposure to a wide range of litigation matters. You’ll be involved in research, drafting pleadings and submissions, offering client advice, and handling discovery processes.
You’ll work alongside partners who will offer valuable guidance, as well as a talented group of junior and senior lawyers. Our open-plan, non-hierarchical environment allows you to gain direct insight into the day-to-day work of our partners, creating a collaborative atmosphere that fosters growth and professional development.

What we’re looking for
- A good quality LLB and current New Zealand legal practicing certificate
- 2+ years’ experience in litigation and dispute resolution
- The ability to work autonomously
- Excellent client relationship building skills and a down-to-earth personality
- Commercial and pragmatic approach to providing advice
- A strongly collaborative team player
