Job Description For a large, international non-food chain, we are looking for a driven Assistant Store Manager who wants to build on a smoothly running store and a strong team at their location in Mariakerke. Your task package: As Assistant Store Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Store Manager in the daily management of the store. You will ensure that: - The direction, motivation, and coaching of a team of 12 to 15 store employees are carried out. - Daily tasks such as opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and cash handling are executed correctly. - Customer service is provided at a high level, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty. - Store appearance and cleanliness are maintained at a high standard. - Sales goals and targets are achieved through effective sales strategies and employee motivation. - Inventory levels are managed to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste. - The store's financial performance is monitored and controlled to achieve budgetary targets. - The store's operations are optimized to improve efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction. - The Store Manager is supported in their daily tasks and responsibilities. You will work closely with the Store Manager to: - Develop and implement sales strategies and employee motivation plans. - Analyze sales data and inventory levels to optimize stock management. - Identify and address any operational or financial issues that may arise. - Provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive shopping experience for customers. - Maintain a high level of store appearance and cleanliness. - Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations. - Develop and maintain strong relationships with employees, customers, and other stakeholders.
