Social Worker

The Regional Social Action Assistant (ARAS) of the Nyon District is seeking, within the framework of its activities related to the Vaud Law on Social Action (LASV), for the Regional Social Centre (CSR) of Nyon a Social Worker (from 80% to 100%). The CSR has the mission to welcome every person in need of help or advice, to offer social support to accompany them towards social and/or professional reintegration, to assess their entitlement to integration income (RI) and, if necessary, to disburse financial benefits. Mission - Assess entitlement to social benefits in compliance with the Vaud Law on Social Action (LASV) and subsidiarity - Manage RI files in close collaboration with CSR managers and participate in the working sessions of the CSR Social Unit - Carry out a social assessment and support beneficiaries in defining a personalized action plan - Make socio-professional integration measures available and collaborate with beneficiaries as well as with partners in the socio-medical network Required profile - Diploma from a social studies school (HES) or a title considered equivalent - Experience in social support, ideally in the field of social assistance or socio-professional integration - Willingness to work within a regulatory framework and to know cantonal and federal social legislation, social insurance, as well as the Vaud socio-medical network - Ability to work in a multidisciplinary manner - Listening and negotiation skills, analytical and synthesis skills, including in writing - Stress resistance and adaptability - Proficiency in usual computer tools What we offer - Salary conditions appropriate to the requirements of the position - Varied work within a human-sized structure - A working environment that promotes a spirit of collaboration, where everyone's contribution is valued - An opening to teleworking in line with our public service mission - Position in salary class (salary scale can be consulted on our job page) - Internal and continuous training
