Job Description

As Assistant Store Manager, you are the right-hand person of the supermarket manager.
Together, you ensure that the store runs flawlessly and customers have an excellent experience.
You switch effortlessly between different departments and are a true linchpin in the team.

You enjoy working operationally in the store, with only a very small amount of administrative tasks involved.
90% of your responsibilities involve actively working in the different departments.

What does your day look like as Assistant Store Manager?
• Actively working in the different departments (stocking, checkout, delicatessen, bakery, warehouse)
• Inventory management and placing orders
• Ensuring an attractive and well-maintained store presentation
• Coaching, motivating, and supporting the team
• Assisting with staff scheduling in the absence of the store manager

Profile• Initial experience in retail, preferably in a supervisory role
• You are customer-oriented, results-oriented, and strong in organization
• You radiate positivity and energy
• Flexibility is your second nature (variable hours and weekends): you can start at 6 am and sometimes work until 8 pm. Weekends mean both Saturday and Sunday.
