Job Description
As Assistant Store Manager, you are the right-hand person of the Store Manager and you contribute to the smooth running of the store.
Your tasks:
• You manage and motivate a team of +/- 15 colleagues (permanent employees, flexi-staff, students, and trainees)
• You guide, coach, and train employees
• You ensure that the store looks attractive and tidy
• You manage daily tasks and deliveries
• You alternate between being a manager on the floor and working on administration
• You help customers with a smile and a customer-oriented approach
• You contribute to a positive atmosphere and a strong team
Every day is different and offers variety and responsibility.
Profile• You have experience as an Assistant Store Manager within the retail sector or you have experience as a sales assistant and want to take the next step
• You are positive, enthusiastic, and eager to give your best every day
• You enjoy a fast-paced work environment and know how to convey this to your team
• You are social and interact easily with colleagues and customers
• You can manage multiple tasks simultaneously and maintain an overview
• You are a true coach and know how to motivate people and get them on board
• Customers feel immediately welcome thanks to your customer-oriented attitude
• You speak Dutch fluently; knowledge of French and/or English is a plus
• You are flexible and have no problem with early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• You work independently, take initiative, and have a sense of responsibility
Offer• Full-time contract of 38 hours per week with option for a permanent contract (start via temporary agency)
• Two days off per week
