Job description

As an Assistant in the Study Center, you will support our team in recruiting, pre-qualifying, and coordinating participants for clinical studies.

Your main tasks will include conducting telephone pre-qualifications of potential study participants, scheduling appointments, and supporting operational tasks in the recruitment process. You will work closely with study physicians, study nurses, and the marketing team to ensure an efficient and participant-friendly recruitment process.

The position is designed as a mini-job and is suitable for individuals with excellent communication skills and an interest in gaining insights into clinical research and study operations.

Tasks

Participant Recruitment & Screening

  • Telephone pre-qualification of interested individuals according to the study protocol
  • Verification of basic inclusion and exclusion criteria in consultation with the study team
  • Structured documentation of all contacts in the CRM/study management system
  • Scheduling and coordination of screening visits for potential study participants

Participant Communication & Coordination

  • Professional and empathetic communication with potential study participants
  • Answering organizational and process-related questions
  • Supporting the study team with operational and administrative tasks
  • Receiving study participants and supporting pre-study activities on-site

Support in the Recruitment Process

  • Collaboration in monitoring recruitment performance and relevant funnel metrics
  • Support in maintaining and organizing the participant database
  • Ensuring a structured and GDPR-compliant documentation throughout the recruitment process

Qualification

  • First experience in recruitment, customer service, call center, or patient-related activities is advantageous
  • Studies or currently studying in the field of health sciences, psychology, economics, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence in telephone contact
  • Structured, reliable, and detail-oriented work style
  • Safe handling of digital tools and databases
  • Fluent German language skills (required) and very good English language skills in writing and speaking
