Assistant VP (Platform Engineering) - Morgan Stanley

We're seeking someone to join our Threat Hunt Team as a Platform Engineer in Cyber to seek out attacks against the Morgan Stanley network, to engineer detection strategies, and to reduce risk to Morgan Stanley assets In the Technology division, we leverage innovation to build the connections and capabilities that power our Firm, enabling our clients and colleagues to redefine markets and shape the future of our communities. This is a Cybersecurity Engineering III position at Director level, which will be responsible for developing and implementing threat hunting strategies, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential threats, and providing technical expertise to support the development of new detection capabilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in threat hunting, security information and event management (SIEM) systems, and network traffic analysis. Additionally, they should be familiar with programming languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Ruby, and have experience working with cloud-based platforms like AWS or Azure. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field is required, along with 8-10 years of relevant work experience.
