Assistant Quantity Surveyor & Quantity Surveyor - London Gatwick Location: London Gatwick Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: Assistant Quantity Surveyor: £36,000 - £45,000 DOE Package Quantity Surveyor: £55,000 - £65,000 DOE Package About the Role: My client, a leading contractor in the construction industry, is looking to expand its team with the addition of experienced Assistant Quantity Surveyors and Quantity Surveyors. The role will be focused on managing financial interests while supporting the delivery of construction projects. Key responsibilities will include: • Preparing and managing budgets, forecasts and financial reports • Coordinating and managing the procurement process for construction projects • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders • Providing expert advice on construction costs and commercial matters • Assisting in the preparation of tender submissions and bids • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of project costs and financial performance. The ideal candidate will have: • A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field • Relevant experience in a similar role • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
